Semi-mythical dorayaki pancakes available for three days only per month

Founded in 1716, the legendary sweet maker, Sasaya Iori, counts KYOTO-GOSHO Palace, and various shrines and temples among their clientele. Their specialty is a long, bar-shaped dorayaki bean-jam pancake (¥1,620) that began to be created especially for the monks of TO-JI Temple. Due to the time-consuming production process, it is only available on the 20, 21 and 22 of the month.
